Annotation

The family house is located in the Prague part of Hlubočepy. This is

about the cadastral territory in the southern part of Prague.

On the plot, which lies directly in the historic part of Hlubočep, there is an existing building of an old barn. The task was to design a family house for a family of four on this plot. The current barn building could have been preserved, demolished or partially used according to our approach. The main goal was to ensure comfortable family living of a higher standard and at the same time make the most of the value of the area. Hlubočepy has its characteristic genius loci, mainly due to the backdrop of the Prokop Valley, which needed to be preserved or even supported by the proposal.
